Scandinavian Wellness — The Art of Navigating Change
A life rebuilt with belonging, balance, and Scandinavian direction.
I grew up on this coastline.
I walked the narrow path down to the beach every weekend, the same one you see in the picture.
It taught me steadiness, simplicity, and how to return to myself.
These are the principles I now use to guide others as they navigate change.
Who I Am
MY STORY
I’m Sissel — a Norwegian‑born Modern Viking Woman shaped by the rugged coastline, the weather, and the quiet strength of Scandinavian women who came before me.
I grew up in a culture where women moved through life with clarity, practicality, and a deep sense of belonging to land and community. Their way of navigating change — one grounded action at a time — shaped how I understand balance, resilience, and midlife transformation.
I create for women 40+ because I have walked their path: burnout, reinvention, grief, identity shifts, and rebuilding a life from the ground up. I know what it feels like to lose your sense of direction — and what it feels like to reclaim it.
Community carried me through my hardest seasons. People who showed up. People who held space. People who reminded me that identity can be rebuilt, and that strength often begins in the smallest possible action — the same way Viking women approached change, season after season.
That is the energy behind my work today: Nordic herbs, ritual, and self‑paced workshops for midlife women ready to rise again. A Scandinavian approach to rebuilding balance, clarity, and grounded resilience — one small, steady step at a time.
MY APPROACH — I blend:
Micro‑Steps
Tiny, doable actions that rebuild trust, momentum, and direction — the same steady way Scandinavian women have always moved through change.
Scandinavian Wellness
Clarity, balance, grounded living, and connection to land, season, and self.
Nordic Ritual & Herbs
Simple practices that calm the nervous system, restore steadiness, and help midlife women reconnect with their inner strength.
No pressure.
No overwhelm.
Just one clear step at a time.
This approach is rooted in what Viking women understood well — that change happens through small, intentional actions, through rhythm and ritual, and through a grounded relationship with the world around them.
Their practicality, courage, and balance shape how I create for women today.
How I work
I create classes, self‑paced workshops, and grounded micro‑step practices for midlife women who want clarity, balance, and a renewed sense of direction.
I write for women 40+ who feel tired, overwhelmed, off‑course, or ready for a new beginning — women navigating burnout, identity shifts, grief, reinvention, or the quiet ache of midlife transition.
My work is simple, practical, and rooted in Scandinavian clarity, Nordic herbs, and the micro‑steps that rebuild trust, momentum, and belonging.
Everything I create comes from the tools I used to rebuild my own life — grounded, gentle, and shaped by the quiet strength of Viking‑woman resilience.
If you’re longing for steadiness, clarity, and a way to come home to yourself again, you’re welcome here.
One grounded Modern Viking Woman step at a time.
WHY I DO THIS
My approach is shaped by what Viking women knew: that balance and change are rebuilt through small, practical actions, shared strength, and rituals that give life meaning.
Their practicality, courage, and rhythm shape how I create for women today.
THE VIKING‑WOMAN LINEAGE
My work is shaped by the lived strength of Viking‑woman resilience — the women I come from, who carried families, communities, and themselves with clarity and grounded presence.
Their way of living was practical, intentional, and deeply connected to land and season.
It forms the foundation of how I understand well‑being today.
Viking women lived with a strength that was steady, not loud; rooted, not forceful.
They ran households, farms, and communities.
They traveled.
They owned property.
They divorced freely.
They held spiritual authority.
This lineage teaches me that:
strength can be grounded
clarity can be steady
rhythm and intention matter more than perfection
courage often looks like simply beginning again
I carry this heritage into modern life through grounded habits, intentional ritual, Nordic herbs, and the clarity that comes from knowing who you are and where you come from.
