The Scandinavian - Art of Living Well - Blog.
This is the Heart of my writing:
I write about midlife as it truly is, a mix of exhaustion, reflection, and new beginnings.
It’s a time of recalibration, inside and out.
Here you’ll find practical, Scandinavian ways to shift, regain direction,
and move forward with resilience.

The Changing Body
Midlife doesn’t arrive politely. It shows up in movie theaters, boardrooms, and bathroom mirrors — in the moments where you suddenly realize you’re not who you were, and not yet who you’re becoming.
In this week’s reflection, I explore how the changing body is not a failure, but a transition into a new season of strength, clarity, and lived wisdom. From unexpected tears in a cinema to the quiet battles fought in male‑dominated workplaces, these shifts reveal a deeper truth: you are not breaking down — you are recalibrating.
This is the story of meeting yourself again, with honesty, humor, and the grounded perspective of a modern Viking woman.
